Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy

  • By making a booking through our platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
  • Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the service type and vendor policy.

2. User Cancellation

a. Cancellation Within Allowed Time
  • Users may cancel before the vendor’s allowed cancellation deadline.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will follow the vendor's policy.
b. Last-Minute Cancellations
  • Cancellations after the vendor’s cut-off time are non-refundable.

3. Vendor / Service Provider Cancellation

  • Vendors may cancel due to unavailability or operational issues.
  • Users will receive a full refund of the booking amount.
  • BookMyEvent is not liable for losses beyond the booking amount.

4. Refund Policy

a. Refund Eligibility
  • Vendor policy allows a refund.
  • Vendor cancels the booking.
  • Verified service failure.
b. Non-Refundable Cases
  • Late cancellation beyond allowed time.
  • No-show by the user.
  • Incorrect booking details by the user.
  • Partially or fully completed services.
c. Mode of Refund
  • Refund to the original payment method.
  • Processing time: 5–7 business days.

5. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling allowed only if vendor permits.
  • Subject to availability & extra charges.
  • Rescheduled bookings are non-refundable.

6. Service Quality Issues

  • Users must report issues within 24 hours.
  • BookMyEvent will review and coordinate with vendor.
  • Refunds only after verification.

7. Platform Limitations

  • BookMyEvent acts only as an intermediary.
  • Vendors decide refund eligibility unless they fail to respond.
